The snowpack is mostly stable. Small pockets of soft wind slab formed by northwest winds lie in steep avalanche terrain, particularly at the high elevations. Watch out for unstable snow on isolated terrain features. Remember that low hazard does not mean no hazard exists and even a small avalanche can knock people over and carry them through rugged terrain or down long confined paths such as couloirs.

Inversion conditions are to develop overnight. Low clouds are possible in the morning followed by mostly sunny skies during the day. Temperatures are to reach the mid to upper twenties at all elevations. A very weak weather system could bring some flurries or light snow late Wednesday afternoon and evening. On summits, west winds are to have ten to fifteen mile per hour averages. The general avalanche hazard will be Low on Wednesday. Small wind slabs could be triggered in isolated terrain, particularly at the higher elevations. A very remote chance may remain to trigger a large slab avalanche in an isolated area in the Southwest Trails and Togwotee Pass areas. Depending on the cloud cover in the afternoon, small wet loose slides could become possible in the afternoon in warm, south facing terrain.
