I høgfjellsterreng kan nysnø frå måndag lokalt ha danna tynne, ferske flak. Desse er venta å binde seg raskt til underlaget, men kan være ustabile i nokre få utsette.

Snowpack Structure

Det er i praksis snøfritt opp til ca. 700 moh, og gradvis meir samanhengande snødekke over denne høgda. Det meste av snøen er smelteomdanna.

Tendency

Colder weather leads to generally favorable conditions. The hard snowsurface will gradualy soften in sun exposed terrain during the day.
