Fresh wind slabs are to be evaluated with care and prudence.
The new snow and wind slabs of the last few days can be released by a single winter sport participant. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular in steep terrain and in gullies and bowls. In the afternoon as a consequence of the snowfall there will be an increase in the avalanche danger. Meticulous route selection is advisable.
Some snow has fallen since Sunday in some regions. The fresh snow and the small wind slabs formed by the strong wind are lying on the unfavourable surface of an old snowpack. Some snow will fall from the afternoon. The snowpack will become prone to triggering in some places. Isolated avalanche prone weak layers exist in the old snowpack.
On Wednesday it will be partly cloudy. Some snow will fall until the early morning. The wind will be light to moderate. The avalanche danger will increase but remain within the current danger level.
