Low avalanche danger will prevail.

The avalanche prone locations are to be found on extremely steep slopes above approximately 2900 m and in gullies and bowls. The mostly small wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in isolated cases. This applies in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas. The wind slabs are clearly recognisable to the trained eye. Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be good in some case. As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation individual mostly small moist and wet avalanches are possible below approximately 2700 m.

In these regions in all altitude zones hardly any snow is lying. On sunny slopes as well as below approximately 2300 m from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying. The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust and will soften during the day. At high altitudes and in high Alpine regions snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. Individual weak layers exist in the snowpack on shady slopes.

The avalanche danger will persist.
