Forecast Snow Stability: Good general stability. Exposed old snowpack will be hard or firm and very well bonded. Some new, thin, patchy windslab on steep sheltered North to East aspects above 900m. All old cornices will remain refrozen. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: Some light patchy sleet or snow showers overnight then dry. Strong South-West winds easing to fresh Westerly in the early hours. Becoming colder. Observed Weather Influences: A trace of snowfall otherwise dry. Cold overnight then slightly milder. Moderate West-South-West winds. ObservedSnowStability: Good stability in all locations. Firm well bonded old snowpack. Sporadic patches of thin windslab on some North to East aspects above 900m. Refrozen old cornices above North to South-East aspects. Patchy snow cover below 800m. The avalanche hazard is Low.
