In sintesi

At the upper elevations humans could trigger isolated pockets of shallow wind slab 6 to 18 inches in depth. These small slides are especially dangerous above cliffs and terrain traps, on hanging snowfields and in very steep couloirs and chutes. The potential for skiers and riders to trigger one of these isolated slabs or a shallow wet snow slough will increase during the warmest portion of the day. Assess terrain for the consequences of being caught by one of these slides. Avalanches are unlikely at the mid elevations. The ground surface is mostly bare below an elevation of 7,000 feet.

Avalanche Discussion

Tuesday will be dry with valley inversions. Skies will be mostly clear above areas of morning valley fog. Temperatures will drop into the teens and single digits overnight and rise into the mid-30s during the day. Winds will be from the northwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour.No new avalanche activity has been reported for several days. At the upper elevations skiers or riders could trigger isolated pockets of shallow wind slab up to 18 inches deep and wet loose sloughs on very steep slopes. Avalanches are unlikely at the mid elevations. Very little snow exists at the lower elevations. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW.
