Forecast Snow Stability: The firm snowpack will begin to soften through the afternoon and remain well bonded and stable at all altitudes. The most widespread accumulations will be on North-West through North to North-East aspect above 950 metres, especially around coire back walls ridge flanks and the plateau. Elsewhere the ground will be mostly bare with a few ribbons of soft snow remaining in stream beds steep banks and hollows. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: It is expected to be dry throughout the forecast period with some hill fog and mist over the summits. Strong Westerly winds will increase to gale force during the day and back to become West-South-Westerly through the afternoon. Overnight, the 700 metre freezing level will steadily rise to, and remain, above the summits. Observed Weather Influences: Occasional light snow showers cleared to leave a dry day. Strong winds were from the West-North-West and the freezing level was around 800 metres. ObservedSnowStability: There is a fine dusting of new snow above 850 metres. The old snowpack is firm well bonded and stable at all altitudes.
