Forecast Snow Stability: Good stability in all locations. Firmer snow surface in the shade, moister in the sun and at lower altitudes. Remaining cornices will continue to slump and shed in the thawing conditions. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: High pressure continues with the continuation of freeze thaw cycles; chilly nights and warm spring days. The winds will be light West-South-Westerly. Observed Weather Influences: High pressure with dry and cool conditions, at all elevations overnight, thereafter it has been a bright and clear day with warm sunshine. Light West-South-West winds. ObservedSnowStability: Good stability in all locations. Firm, moist snow where shaded and softer elsewhere. Remaining cornices mostly on Easterly aspects. The avalanche hazard is Low.
