Problemi valanghivi

  • Wet snow

    • Above 2,400 m

Avalanche Activity

The snowpack will be in most cases moist.

As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation small and medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible above approximately 2400 m. Below approximately 2400 m only a little snow is lying. The new snow of the weekend can be released, especially by large additional loads in particular on very steep shady slopes above approximately 2700 m.

Snowpack Structure

The old snowpack will be generally moist. Below approximately 2400 m only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year.

Tendency

The danger of moist avalanches will increase during the day.
