Avalanche Activity

GC11/4 Dry+mild Snowpack generally stable localised surface instabilities gullies+headwalls. Cornices prone to collapse. Low Hazard.

Forecast Snow Stability: With mild and mainly dry conditions expected general snowpack stability will be good in most areas. Localised surface instabilities will exist in summit gully exits and around corrie rims but these areas are not expected to be deep or extensive and should in the main be avoidable. Cornices will be prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
