The visible wind slabs of the last few days can be released, especially by large additional loads, in particular on very steep north, east and southeast facing slopes, in particular adjacent to ridgelines at high altitude, as well as at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack, when entering gullies and bowls for example above approximately 2600 m, caution is to be exercised in particular on very steep slopes. In some localities increase in danger of wet and gliding avalanches as a consequence of warming during the day. This applies especially at the base of rock walls.

In some regions 5 to 10 cm of snow, but less in some localities, fell on Monday above approximately 2000 m. The conditions below approximately 2400 m are spring-like. Towards its surface, the snowpack is hard and its surface has a melt-freeze crust that is strong in many cases. The surface of the snowpack will soften during the day. Faceted weak layers exist in the bottom section of the snowpack at intermediate and high altitudes. In all aspects below approximately 2500 m less snow than usual is lying. Below approximately 2000 m only a little snow is lying. In high Alpine regions snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind.

The avalanche danger will persist.
