Greatest amounts of old, firm and icy snow will be on coire headwalls and plateau areas, on North to South-East aspects above 900m. Any new snow is not expected to be significant. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: A predominantly dry day, with only light snow forecast above 1000m. Gale force South-Westerly winds will ease to moderate in the early hours, then veer West-South-West and steadily increase to very strong throughout the day. The freezing level will decrease to around 1000m. Observed Weather Influences: A dry day with gale force South-Westerly winds. The freezing level is around summit level.
