In sintesi

At the mid and upper elevations surface slabs to eighteen inches in depth could be triggered in steep wind loaded avalanche terrain. Under these surface slabs, older hard slabs that lie upon a persistent layer of weak faceted snow could also be triggered on steep slopes and in cliff areas particularly by larger loads such as snowmobiles. As sunlight and warming occur today these surface slabs and underlying hard slabs will become more sensitive and wet slides may occur. At low elevations avalanches are unlikely in the early morning hours but as warming occurs wet slide activity will become possible. Yesterday a snowmobiler triggered a two foot surface slab in Teton Canyon and on Friday a skier triggered and was caught in an avalanche with a four foot crown in the Green River Drainage.
