In sintesi
At upper elevations backcountry travelers could trigger surface slabs in steep wind loaded terrain. These slabs generally have depths to eighteen inches, however snowfall amounts varied during the last storm cycles and deeper surface slabs exist in areas where greater snowfall amounts have occured. At the mid and low elevations, isolated pockets of shallow surface slabs may be triggered.
