Det er generelt stabile tilhøve. I bratt terreng med våt snø kan det vere mogleg å løyse ut små våte laussnøskred. Skavlbrot og glideskred kan førekomme.

Snowpack Structure

Snøgrensa varierer i regionen og er høgast i sørvendte hellingar og lengst ut mot kysten. Generelt er det bart eller usammanhengande snø til ca. 600 moh. Det er i hovudsak grovkorna smelteomvandla snø, som er våt etter regn og mildvêr.
