At the upper elevations warming temperatures will increase the potential for skiers and riders to trigger shallow wet sloughs and isolated pockets of wind slab up to 18 inches deep. These small slides could be dangerous in extreme terrain. Monitor conditions and avoid very steep terrain if significant softening of the snow surfaces occur. Avalanches are unlikely at the mid elevations. The ground surface is mostly bare below an elevation of 7,000 feet.

Skies will remain mostly clear overnight. A weak system will bring some clouds and a chance for some flurries to the higher peaks in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be cooler with highs at 10,500 feet in the mid-20s. Winds will be northwesterly at 10 to 15 miles per hour.Cooler temperatures and clouds will decrease the avalanche hazard. Mostly stable snow exists at the mid and upper elevations where the general avalanche hazard will be LOW. Very little snow exists at the lower elevations.
