The majority of the terrain on the Manti Skyline has a LOW avalanche danger. The majority of the snow is stable, and human-triggered avalanches are unlikely. Use standard backcountry protocol by exposing only one person at a time to steep slopes.
Snow and Weather
General Conditions: Riding conditions are hit and miss and I missed on Sunday. I found mainly wind-hammered snow surface conditions most everywhere I traveled. There are still areas with dense soft snow, but you need to be savvy (or lucky?) to find them. Temperatures were into the mid to upper 30s on Sunday and dropped into the teens overnight. Wind has been light to moderate in speed from a westerly direction.
Mountain Weather: We'll have mostly clear skies today with temperatures in the upper 20s to perhaps low 30s. Wind will be light from the northwest. The next few days look similar with slightly warmer temperatures. Something that resembles a minor storm disturbance will move through late in the week but won't bring any snow.
