Strong winds and blowing snow will drive dangerous avalanche conditions. Wind-loaded slopes near ridgelines and exposed terrain will be the day's most avalanche-prone locations. Avoid steep terrain and convex rollovers in wind-affected areas. Instead, stick to low-angle forested slopes as your safest option. Be aware of cornices. Don't walk out onto them or linger under them.
