The snowpack is mostly stable. At the higher elevations isolated pockets of shallow wind slab 6 to 12 inches in depth could be human triggered in steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones. A small slab avalanche was triggered by a skier on an east aspect of Breccia Mountain yesterday, These slabs could be dangerous in cliff areas and in steep couloirs. Assess the terrain and snow conditions carefully as snow structure conditions can vary significantly depending on aspect, elevation and location. Avoid steep avalanche prone terrain in areas where the snowpack has poor structure.
