Forecast Snow Stability: Snowpack stability will remain good in all locations. Snow cover will be limited and patchy with greatest accumulations in the higher North and Easterly corries. The surface of much of the snowpack will begin to soften as rain and milder conditions take effect. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing level will be above the summits for the period. A moist South-Westerly flow will bring some light overnight rain or drizzle followed by a mostly dry day, some rain due again by late afternoon. Winds will be strong West-South-Westerly. Observed Weather Influences: The freezing level was around 930 metres. Winds were fresh to strong from a South-Westerly direction with some light rain on occasions, sleet on the highest summits. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack remains well bonded, icy in places above 950 metres and stability is generally good. Snow cover is patchy with the greatest accumulations in sheltered gullies and hollows and on Northerly to Easterly aspects, mainly above 850 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
