In sintesi

At the Upper elevations recent snow and wind have resulted in surface slabs up to 4' in depth on steep wind loaded slopes and cliff areas. These slabs lie on sun and melt freeze crusts and could be human triggered today. The potential to pull out deeper persistent weak layers exists on Norhterly aspects. On Friday, two slides roughly 3' in depth were skier released upon approach on Twin Slides by Teton Pass and on a Southwest slope near Togwotee Pass. If the day clears and warms as predicted these slabs will become more sensitive and the likelyhood of natural and human triggered slides will increase. At mid elevations today pockets of soft slab to 18" could be released and also will become more sensitive if significant warming occurs.
