The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. DANGEROUS surface slabs one to three in depth lie upon a weak unstable layer of faceted snow. Natural activity is possible and human triggered avalanches are likely in steep wind loaded avalanche prone terrain. Warm temperatures will enhance the instability and could cause wet slides.
