The general avalanche hazard is LOW in the morning and will increase to MODERATE in the afternoon. A well consolidated and mostly stable snowpack exist, however the hazard will increase in very steep terrain after snow surfaces soften. Human triggered wet slides are possible on very steep, sunlit aspects during the warmest portion of the day.

It will remain unsettled on Wednesday with decreasing chances of snow showers. Temperatures will drop into the teens and 20s overnight and rise into the 20s and 30s during the day. Winds will be northwesterly overnight at 25 miles per hour and back to the west and decrease to 10 miles per hour on Wednesday. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW at all elevations. The snowpack is mostly stable and avalanches are unlikely. At the upper elevations isolated pockets of very shallow wind slab could be triggered in cliff areas by climbers and extreme skiers.
