In sintesi
Mostly stable snow exist and avalanches are unlikely except in extreme terrain at the upper elevations where some potential may persist for humans to trigger isolated pockets of hard, wind slab up to 18 inches in depth.
Avalanche Discussion
Increasing clouds overnight are to lead to a period of light snow during the day Thursday with up to three inches of snow predicted in the mountains. West winds with twenty five to thirty mile per hour averages are to accompany this event in advance of a cold front. The general avalanche hazard will be Low. Mostly stable snow exists yet the possibility continues to trigger isolated pockets of hard wind slabs to a foot in depth in steep rocky terrain above 9000 feet.
