Avalanche Summary
An Avalanche Watch is in effect. Strong winds and intense snowfall will rapidly increase the avalanche danger. Very dangerous avalanche conditions are expected to develop by Wednesday morning and last through Friday.
For Tuesday, the danger will increase throughout the day as snow accumulates and winds drift snow onto leeward slopes. You can easily trigger a dangerous avalanche on northwest through north to east-facing slopes at upper elevations. Wind-sheltered slopes below treeline offer safer travel options.
