Forecast Snow Stability: There will be an insignificant dusting of fresh snow above 950 metres. The old snow will be firm, well bonded and stable throughout. Very limited snow will be encountered below 900 metres. Patchy cover above this altitude with deepest accumulations being found on North to East aspects. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Very light snowfall this evening above 950 metres, then dry weather throughout the rest of the period. Winds will be moderate in strength and variable around the South-Westerly quadrant. Freezing level will be 800 metres overnight, gradually rising to 1200 metres by the end of the afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: Light precipitation falling as a trace of snow above 850 metres this morning, followed by a dry afternoon. Moderate South-Westerly winds. Freezing level around 950 metres. ObservedSnowStability: There is a trace of fresh snow above 850 metres but amounts are negligible. The old snow is firm, well bonded and stable. Cover is patchy with largest areas being encountered above 900 metres and on North to East aspects. The avalanche hazard is Low.
