Small wet-snow slides possible
Due to rainfall, wet loose-snow avalanches can trigger naturally in extremely steep terrain where there is still snow on the ground. Avalanches will be mostly small-sized.
Snowpack Structure
South-facing slopes are frequently bare of snow. Where there’s a snowpack on the ground, it’s thoroughly wet.
Weather Forecast
Temperatures dropping slightly, gloomy wet-cold mountain weather with lots of fog and intermittent rainfall. In evening, drier. Temperature at 2000m: 0 degrees; at 3000m: -5 degrees. Light winds at high altitudes.
Tendency
The slopes will continue to become bare of snow.
