A light snowfall is expected above approximately 800 meters. In areas that receive the most new snow (up to 10 cm), it may be possible in a few places to trigger small avalanches in fresh storm slabs. Mild temperatures will lead to rapid stabilization. Below 800 masl. the conditions are stable.

Avalanche Activity

Det ventes et dryss med nysnø over ca 800 moh. På de stedene som får mest nysnø (opp mot 10 cm) kan det noen få steder være lett å å løse ut små skred i ferske nysnøflak. Mild temperatur gjør at stabiliseringen går fort.

Under 800 moh og på steder som får lite eller ingen nysnø er det stabile forhold.

Det er generelt lite snø i regionen og mye oppstikkende steiner.

Snowpack Structure

Det er generelt lite snø og stort sett dårlig skiføre i regionen. Unntaket er lengst vest i regionen rundt Haukeli der det kan være større områder med sammenhengene snødekke. Regnværet på tirsdag fuktet snøen høyt til fjells.

Tendency

Be careful in areas with fresh wind deposited snow. Keep in mind that even small avalanches can have consequences if you fall into rocky terrain.
