Forecast Weather Influences: After a cold night the freezing level will be above the summits. Partly cloudy conditions but It is expected to be dry with fresh to strong Southerly winds. Observed Weather Influences: Colder conditions last night re-froze the moist snowpack. Today dawned with a frost at lower levels and it was dry, bright and clear with very light summit winds, otherwise it was a calm day. ObservedSnowStability: A light dusting of new snow arrived yesterday afternoon these accumulations were not extensive and fell mainly above 800 metres.. The older moist snowpack re-froze and is well bonded, very firm and stable. Largest continuous snow areas remain on North-West through North to East aspects above around 870 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
