Forecast Snow Stability: Areas of moderately bonded windslab will continue to develop, with East through South to West aspects now affected above 900 metres. Steep wind sheltered locations such as gully tops and corrie rims will be worst affected. Elsewhere, exposed terrain will remain very firm and icy. Isolated pockets of deeper snow will also be found at lower levels. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Stability is poorest where accumulations have achieved depth over older snow-ice, particularly around corrie rims and gully tops. Exposed terrain is scoured and often icy.
