Det er generelt stabile tilhøve. I enkelte bratte heng med våt snø kan det vere mogleg å løyse ut laussnøskred, særleg der sola står på. Skavlbrot og glideskred kan førekomme.

Snowpack Structure

Snøgrensa varierer i regionen og er høgast i sørvendte hellingar og lengst ut mot kysten. Snøen er i hovudsak smelteomvandla og grovkorna. Snøoverflata frys om natta, og blir fuktig eller våt på dagen.
