Generelt er det stabile tilhøve. Om du finn stadar med våt, laus snø kan du løyse ut skred, men for det meste drenerer snøen vatn godt, og skya, kaldare vêr er stabiliserande. Skavlar kan likevel knekke og glideskred losne.

Snowpack Structure

Det har smelta mykje snø den siste tida, og snøgrensa har steget på kysten og langs fjordane. Snødekket består i hovudsak av grovkorna våt snø, utan tydleg lagdeling.
