Moist and wet avalanches are possible as a consequence of solar radiation.
As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation individual small moist and wet avalanches are possible above approximately 2500 m. Backcountry tours, off-piste skiing and ascents to alpine cabins should be started and concluded early. Individual avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found in particular on very steep shady slopes above approximately 2800 m. Below approximately 2500 m from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.
The snowpack will be generally moist. The new snow of the weekend has settled to a large extent and generally at intermediate altitudes. The meteorological conditions will foster a very rapid strengthening of the snowpack. Below approximately 2500 m only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year.
The danger of moist avalanches will increase during the day.
