In sintesi

The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. New snow and wind have deposited unstable slabs in avalanche terrain to two feet in depth. These slabs will be easily triggered today on steep slopes. Once triggered they have the potential to pull out layers of weak faceted snow deep in the snowpack.
