In sintesi

Yesterdays clear skies allowed for the observation of significant natural avalanche activity which has occured during the past several days on Cody Peak, Mt. Hunt, in Granite Canyon and in Phillips Canyon in the southern portion of Grand Teton National Park. Slabs up to 3 feet in depth persist and could be human triggered on steep wind loaded aspects at the mid and upper elevations. Deeper slabs could be initiated on some aspects especially with larger triggers such as groups or snowmachines. The hazard at all elevations will increase during the day as new soft slabs build and create an additional load on existing areas of instability.
