Forecast Snow Stability: Accumulations of new unstable windslab will develop on steep sheltered North-West to North-Easterly aspects, especially around the tops of gullies and coire rims, mainly above 800 metres. On West and East aspects some localised deposits may also develop above 800 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: Overnight, cold clear and dry condition will affect the area. Early morning snow showers, these will be heavy at times falling to all levels at first becoming less persistent in the afternoon. The light overnight South-Westerly winds will strengthen to become strong Southerly. The freezing level will rise to around 400 metres by midday. Observed Weather Influences: Overnight, there was a smattering of light new snow. It has been cold for the last week and it continued to freeze at all levels through today. It was dry and calm any winds were very light generally North-Easterly.

ObservedSnowStability: There is limited snowpack cover, some isolated patches of old refrozen snow deposits still exist, mainly on North to East aspects above 900 metres. A dusting of fresh snow is present on all aspects mostly above 600 metres these are not significant. The avalanche hazard is Low.
