In very steep, wind-loaded terrain at the high elevations skiers and riders have the potential to trigger recently formed soft slabs to depths of two feet. At the mid elevations isolated pockets to a foot in depth could be triggered in very steep terrain features such as couloirs. Avalanches are unlikely at low elevations today.

The next wave of Pacific moisture will bring snow to the mountains starting Sunday night with the greatest chance of accumulating snow occurring during the day Monday. Mountain temperatures will rise from the low teens in the morning to the low 20s during the day. Winds will be southwesterly at 15 miles per hour. Storm totals should reach four to seven inches by Monday evening with the Togwotee Pass areas accumulating two to four inches.The general avalanche hazard will be Moderate above 9,000 feet through the region. Backcountry users will be able to trigger soft slabs to two feet in depth on steep, lee slopes. The hazard will increase during the day Monday.
