The general avalanche hazard is LOW. A mostly stable early season snowpack exists comprised of faceted snow and some hard crusts. A chance continues for riders or skiers to initiate light surface snow as sluffs or shallow soft slabs in very steep terrain today.

Temperatures at the higher elevations are to reach the upper twenties. Ten to fifteen mile per hour northwest winds are expected. The general avalanche hazard will be LOW.
