At the upper elevations pockets of surface slab up to 18 inches deep persist in steep cliff areas and could be human triggered. At the mid and upper elevations the potential for wet loose and deeper wet slab avalanches to occur will increase as temeperatures warm and snow surfaces soften. Mostly bare ground exist at the lower elevations.

Partly cloudy skies are expected on Sunday as a weather system slides southwest of the area. The Salt River and the Wyoming Ranges may see some isolated showers as this system moves through. Overnight lows at all elevations should be in the mid 20s before rising into the mid 40s in the mountains and mid 50s in the valley. Ridgetop winds are projected to be 10 to 15 mph out of the Northwest.The General Avalanche Hazard is expected to be LOW in the morning, and then rise to MODERATE as the day warms. At the mid and upper elevations the potential for wet loose and deeper wet slab avalanches will increase as temperatures rise and snow surfaces soften. While unlikely, backcountry travelers could trigger isolated pockets of surface slab up to a foot in depth persisting on very-steep, shaded starting zones above 9,000 feet. Mostly bare ground exists at the lower elevations.
