In sintesi

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Surface slabs to a foot in depth could be easily triggered at near ridgecrest today. Beneath the new slabs DANGEROUS slabs up to six feet in depth could be triggered in the steep starting zones of major avalanche paths. Starting zones beneath cornices, that are heavily drifted and face east through north are most suspect. Larger triggers such as groups of skiers and snowmachiners are more likely to initiate failure of these killer slabs. If your partner gets stuck on their snowmachine on a steep slope, placing another rider on the slope to assist is not recommended.
