The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Yesterdat pockets of new soft slab up to one foot in depth were put in by westerly winds. These slabs and loose snow sluffs are likely to be easily triggered today on steep banks and in steep wind loaded starting zones. Be aware of and avoid terrain traps.
