In sintesi

Another day of unseasonably warm temperatures, light winds and sunny skies will result in wet loose avalanches being possible on any steep slopes receiving sunlight. Additionally, cornices deserve extra caution and could collapse easiser than you may anticipate. These problems will increase throughout the day as solar exposure and temperatures increase. If you notice slushy snow penetrating above your boot tops or active rollerballing, consider shadier slopes.

Monday is looking to be a similar set-up to Sunday, but with higher overnight temperatures and lighter winds in the morning. Clear skies should allow for a light freeze of the snow surface to start the morning, but it won't take long for the April sun to do it's part and destabilize the snow on solar slopes. The best thing to do is keep monitoring the surface snow. If it starts to become wet, heavy, or slushy, then wet loose avalanches can happen. Watch for other signs that the snow surface is heating up such as roller balls coming down steep slopes or recent wet loose avalancehs as indicators that you can trigger an avalanche. As temperatures increase throughout the day, so will the likelihood of triggering a wet loose slide.

Recently formed cornices overhanging ridgetops are starting to sag and droop with continued warm weather causing further weakening. Understand that this problem can be difficult to predict and can break farther back than you may expect. Avoid traveling or standing below large cornices, and use caution traveling on ridges if you are uncertain of cornice presence.
