Avalanche Activity

Slight increase in danger of moist and wet avalanches as a consequence of the precipitation.

As a consequence of the precipitation more moist and wet avalanches are possible as the day progresses. This applies in particular on grassy slopes, as well as at low and intermediate altitudes. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided. There is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. This applies in particular on steep slopes in high Alpine regions.

Snowpack Structure
