Avalanche Activity

Forecast Snow Stability: The thaw continues with more snow loss expected. Some surface instabilities are possible from the steepest slopes above 950m on North-West to Easterly aspects. But generally, although the snowpack will be wet it will remain stable in most areas. Any remaining cornices will weaken further and be prone to collapse. Some potential for minor full depth avalanches from snow slopes and gullies above steep crags. The avalanche hazard will be Low
