Fresh wind slabs. The more recent wind slabs are in some cases still prone to triggering in all aspects and generally at high altitudes and in high Alpine regions. These can in isolated cases be released, even by a single winter sport participant and reach medium size. Moist and wet avalanches. From the early morning as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation there will be a rapid increase in the danger of moist and wet avalanches. Additionally in some places moist and wet avalanches can penetrate near-ground layers of the snowpack reach quite a large size in particular on very steep shady slopes. In particular areas where the snow cover is rather shallow below approximately 2800 m: Wet avalanches can be released in the weakly bonded old snow by a single winter sport participant. The Avalanche Warning Service currently has only a small amount of information that has been collected in the field, so that the avalanche danger should be investigated especially thoroughly in the relevant locality.

The spring-like weather conditions gave rise to rapid moistening of the snowpack over a wide area. Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be quite good. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise to a loss of strength within the snowpack over a wide area. The weather conditions fostered a gradual strengthening of the snow drift accumulations. 30 to 60 cm of snow fell on Monday above approximately 2600 m. Especially at high altitudes and in high Alpine regions a lot of snow is lying. Individual weak layers exist in the snowpack in shady places that are protected from the wind, especially above approximately 2400 m. Since Saturday on very steep slopes numerous medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large avalanches were reported.
