In particular in the regions of the north exposed to the foehn wind mostly small wind slabs will form. They can be released in isolated cases, in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls on extremely steep slopes. Caution is to be exercised at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack.

In all aspects snow depths vary greatly above approximately 2200 m, depending on the infuence of the wind. Below approximately 1800 m from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying. On steep sunny slopes below approximately 2500 m a little snow is lying. The snowpack is not distinctly layered. Shady slopes: The snowpack consists of faceted crystals.

The danger of moist avalanches will increase a little during the day.
