Avalanche Activity

As a consequence of the snowfall dry and moist avalanches are possible as the day progresses, in particular medium-sized ones.

The avalanche prone locations are to be found on steep shady slopes above approximately 1600 m and adjacent to ridgelines.

Snowpack Structure

The fresh snow and the sometimes deep wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in particular on northeast to northeast to northwest facing aspects above approximately 1800 m.
