Night: The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust only at high altitudes and will soften earlier than the day before. After an overcast night this applies. Gradual increase in danger of gliding avalanches and moist snow slides in the course of the day, in particular on very steep sunny slopes below approximately 2800 m,, in isolated cases also on shady slopes, especially below approximately 2500 m. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls. Weak layers in the old snowpack can be released in isolated cases and mostly by large additional loads.

Less snow than usual is lying. On sunny slopes below approximately 2300 m from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying. The conditions below approximately 2500 m are spring-like. This applies in all aspects. The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust only at high altitudes and will already soften in the late morning. Faceted weak layers exist in the snowpack on north, northeast and northwest facing slopes.

Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be good. Decrease in danger of gliding avalanches and moist snow slides as the temperature drops.
