Forecast Snow Stability: Little change is expected. The snowpack will remain firm and well bonded at all elevations. Some softening of the snow surface will occur where slopes are exposed to solar radiation below 950 metres. Greatest amounts are on North-West through North to East aspects above 950 metres, such as steep coire back walls and ridge flanks. Below this altitude the snow cover is very patchy. A light dusting of snow later above 1100 metres will be insignificant. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: A predominately dry day is expected with some very light precipitation at the end of the forecast period. This will fall as snow above 1100 metres although amounts are expected to be insignificant. The wind will be strong, increasing steadily to gale force and from the South-South-West. The freezing level will be around 950 metres. Observed Weather Influences: A fine dry day with moderate winds from the West-North-West. The freezing level was around 1000 metres, although the snow surface remained frozen. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is stable, firm and well bonded throughout. Cover is patchy, the greatest amounts can be found on North-West through North to East aspects above 950 metres. Examples include coire back walls, scarp slopes and East facing ridge flanks. The snow surface remained firm and frozen, only softening slightly on slopes exposed to solar radiation. The avalanche hazard is Low.
