Der snøen vert våt og laus, er det mogleg å løyse ut våte laussnøskred. Glideskred kan òg førekomme der vatn samlar seg mellom snøen og glatte underlag som sva. I tillegg kan skavlar svekkast og falle.

Snøgrensa kryp oppover. Under 900–1000 moh. er det svært lite snø att. Attverande snødekke er smelteomvandla og utan lagdeling.
